MARINA BIANCHIN
I am an observational astronomer with a particular interest in characterizing gas outflows in active galaxies to understand their influence on galaxy evolution.

I obtained my PhD at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in Brazil under the supervision of Prof. Rogemar Riffel.
Now I am a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Irvine working with Dr. Vivian U and the GOALS team on observations of luminous infrared galaxies with JWST integral field instruments. I am also an IAU-Gruber foundation Fellow.
